Since its inception, Andculture has believed that the marriage of designers, engineers and strategists alongside entrepreneurs is crucial to rapidly accelerate a novel idea. We’ve tested this concept countless times working with start- ups on the West Coast. We’ve brought this practice into our own backyard with the launch of Catamaran, a Pennsylvania Benefit Corporation formed in 2017.

WHY CATAMARAN?

Catamarans are multi-hulled vessels that outperform their monohull counterparts because of their smaller hydrodynamic resistance. We believe that by joining together founders and expert practitioners, the resulting twin-hulled startup can be agile as it heads out into open waters for the first time. Central Pennsylvania is ripe with innovative opportunities that could benefit from a helpful nudge as they move from idea to startup company. Which is why Andculture has made an investment in building upon the existing entrepreneurial ecosystem that is alive and well in the region.

Catamaran delivers hands-on expertise on how to build and test digital technology solutions and turn them into scalable businesses. We reinvent and improve business models alongside our clients and partners. Through joining together founders and expert practitioners, we believe startups have an even greater chance of success with the mentorship, network connections and access to pilot programs Catamaran can offer local entrepreneurs.
